Thai massage is a deep, full-body bodywork treatment that is part of the tradition of Thai Traditional Medicine. It is also Traditional Thai Bodywork or Traditional Thai Medical Massage. In Thai Massage, the client is fully clothed and the work is performed on a mat on the floor. The client is rocked, compressed, moved, and placed in different therapeutic postures similar to assisted yoga.
